New Engineering Program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College
Chandler-Gilbert Community College has a new Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Engineering Technology. This program provides its graduate’s skills required to obtain employment as entry-level engineering technicians. It is consistent with the preparatory Engineering baccalaureate curricula at regional colleges and universities, and thus permits students to transfer most course credits towards a baccalaureate degree. Students are provided with the fundamentals of physics, engineering, computer hardware, programming, engineering design fundamentals, and computer software program usage. A solid foundation in mathematics, science, communication skills, humanities, and social sciences provides a well-rounded curriculum.
