What is Precision Machining?
Precision machining is the process of creating brand new objects out of metal, composites, and plastics. "Precision" means that these parts are accurate down to the millimeter- they are very carefully made and inspected. Machinist use the most basic hand tools the to latest and greatest computer operated equipment to make aerospace hardware, medical supplies, and the everyday gadgets around your house. There are many jobs in machining, from entry-level operators, to specialized machinists, to programmers, CAD designers, and process engineers. Currently, machinists are in high demand in the Phoenix area.
